H2H Partners with Another Charity
Hanwell2Hanwell has partnered with a local charity in Hounslow to support those struggling during this pandemic. On Saturday, 12th January, H2H's Trustee and Project Director, Sarah Lubanga handed over a number of crates of fresh vegetables as well as bread to be distributed to service users of ..., the Hounslow based charity. H2H believes that by partnering and sharing resources, together the charity sector can more effectively reach those who need our help during this challenging time.
H2H making impact on food waste
Hanwell2Hanwell has continue to make an impact as it continue to work with its Partners to help those on the margins of society, and reduce food waste. Since the Charity started in 2015, working with Fareshare, H2H has made 1,859 collections. This is 51,028 kg of food collected, 121, 498 meals equivalent and 163,244 kg of CO2 savings.
The Charity hopes to continue this work throughout the coming year, serving locally and impacting widely.
H2H makes donation to a fulham charity
Hanwell2Hanwell has made a donation to fellow charity in Fulham. The donation of 200 jars of olives with help support people struggling due to the current pandemic. H2H has seen a significant increase in it services during 2020, as well as the request from other charities working in the surrounding boroughs.
Through these partnerships the charity sector is working together to meet the needs of people as they try to manage their resources.
